Hello! I'm Robert, and I am a graduate student at Stanford University. This website was created to serve as the hub connecting my various projects, research, blog posts, and interests. I will prototype these skills on Github while learning HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
UC Berkeley: B.S. Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Minor (2013-2017)
Stanford University: M.S. Civil and Environmental Engineering (Atmosphere / Energy focus) (2017-2019)
An in-depth look at my class and research projects can be found on my Projects Page .
My previous internships have primarily focused on geotechnical engineering, consulting, project management, and field work. I am currently pursuing internship opportunities involving electric vehicle policy, renewable energy, data science, and energy modeling.
During my senior year of undergrad, I was a consultant for Venture Strategy Solutions (VSS). I had the privilege of consulting for the following companies during the fall and spring semesters.
I am always looking for interesting projects to consult for. If your company would like to work with VSS or myself, please connect with me on LinkedIn!
In 2016, I saw my friend Ryan post about “the extreme value proposition that exists in leveraging credit card sign-up bonuses to travel the world virtually for free.” After seeing this, I began to follow The Points Guy and Scott's Cheap Flights ; thanks to their expertise, I have amassed enough points to travel to my heart's desire in 2018!
Along the way, I gained a reputation among friends for being the credit card guy. As such, I wanted to make a page to share exactly what cards are in my wallet, what bonuses I have earned, and what cards I recommend for fellow millennials! This page can be found here .
